The field of large-diameter pile foundations

The core role of solid-liquid separation technology and equipment in the field of large-diameter pile foundations is to handle the mud/sediment during the construction of bored cast-in-place pile foundations, achieving solid-liquid purification and compliant disposal, and ensuring the quality, efficiency and environmental protection compliance of pile foundation construction.

Core functional role

1. Purification of drilling mud: Separating sand, gravel, rock chips and other solid particles from the drilling mud, maintaining stable properties such as viscosity and specific gravity of the mud, preventing collapse and narrowing of the borehole wall, ensuring the cooling and lubrication effect of the drill bit, and improving the accuracy and speed of the drilling process.

2. Control sludge thickness: Effectively remove the sludge at the bottom of the pile hole to ensure that the sludge thickness complies with the design specifications (typically ≤ 50mm). Avoid quality issues such as insufficient bearing capacity of the pile foundation or excessive settlement due to excessive sludge.

3. Environmental compliance requirements: The purified water should be discharged or recycled in accordance with standards. The dried residue (such as drill cuttings) after dehydration is easy to transport and dispose of, preventing the leakage of slurry from polluting the soil, groundwater and the surrounding environment. This ensures compliance with environmental policies and the requirements for civilized construction at the construction site.

4. Resource recycling cost reduction: The recycled clean water can be reused for mud slurry preparation and equipment cleaning. The dry waste can be utilized for resource purposes such as roadbed filling and brick production, thereby reducing water consumption and waste disposal costs.

5. Ensure construction continuity: Quickly handle the large amount of mud and drill cuttings continuously generated during the drilling process, prevent them from accumulating and occupying the construction site, reduce the frequency of mud transportation, ensure the continuous progress of the pile foundation construction, and improve the overall construction efficiency.
