The core role of solid-liquid separation technology and equipment in the field of tunnel shield construction is to handle the slurry/mud and soil generated during the shield construction process, achieving efficient solid-liquid separation and resource recycling, and ensuring construction safety, environmental protection and efficiency.
Core functional roles
Purify construction slurry: Separate solid particles such as sand and gravel from the slurry, restore the core performance of the slurry in lubrication, cooling and supporting the face, ensure the normal operation of the shield machine cutter head, and avoid faults such as shield jamming and wear.
2. Environmental compliance and discharge: The separated clear water is discharged up to standard or recycled, and the solid waste (such as shield tunneling sludge) is dehydrated for convenient transportation and disposal, avoiding mud leakage that causes soil and water pollution, in line with environmental protection policy requirements.
3. Resource Recycling and Utilization: The reclaimed clear water can be reused for mud preparation and equipment cleaning. The dry residue after dewatering can be utilized as resources such as roadbed fillers and raw materials for brick-making, reducing the consumption of construction materials and disposal costs.
4. Ensure construction efficiency: Quickly handle the large amount of slurry and muck continuously generated during shield tunneling to prevent accumulation and occupation of the road, which may affect the construction progress. At the same time, reduce the frequency of slurry transportation to lower logistics costs and the risk of road congestion.
5. Stabilize the construction environment: By controlling the solid content at the shield machine's spoil discharge port through slurry purification, it is possible to prevent on-site hazards such as mud and collapse, and enhance the cleanliness of the construction site and the safety of operations.
